Classes begin at 6:15pm on Wednesday January 19th at IABC

                   The Bible from 30,000 Feet

Location: Commons

Led by: Pastor Steve McMeans

A lot of us know bits and pieces of the Bible but do not have a grasp of the entire book or how all the pieces fit together. This extended study will attempt to give an overview of the entire text touching on every one of the 66 books of the Bible. We will alternate between the Old & New Testament beginning this semester with The Pentateuch (genesis through Deuteronomy) and the Gospel.

He's Where The Joy Is (Women Only)               Room 111

Led by: Karen Salvato                                           Book Cost $15

Tara breaks down the intimidating doctrine of the Trinity. You'll discover a beautiful, foundational view of our Triune God that will transform how you relate to Him. Understanding God's three-in-oneness and each of the Persons of God individually-Father, Son, and Spirit will lead you to deeper intimacy with God and greater joy in knowing Him!

Sundays @ 5:30 pm

Reasonable Faith (Everyone)                               Room 105            Led by: Dr. Keith Loftin

Is Christianity reasonable? The culture says it is not, but are there any good reasons to think it is? Are you equipped to defend, for example, the historical reliability of Jesus' resurrection? To winsomely and persuasively show that God exists? To defend the reliability  of the Bible? Come join this 7-week class and be better "prepared to make a defense...for the hope that is in you" (1Peter 3:15).

Tuesdays @ 10 am

 Precept: Daniel (Everyone)                                   Room 111

Led by: Vondie Howell                                                   $20 for book

Threatened with death, Daniel stuck to his guns and refused to adopt a pagan lifestyle. His worldview had God at the center and he lived it out even under extreme pressure to change. Learn to adopt a biblical worldview and adhere to it even when it's not the norm.

Do you ever open your Bible, start reading, and one chapter and you stop and realize you have no idea what you just read? Reading the Bible can feel overwhelming and difficult, but it doesn't have to be. We will learn to break down and study God's Word using some simple practices and study methods.
